GRCC can support Parish and Town Councils with:

• Volunteering - best practice in recruiting and managing community volunteers.
• Grant Funding - grant funding searches for community projects and being a ‘critical friend’ to grant funding applications.
• Charity Law - understanding roles and responsibilities when sole trustees of local charities.
• Community Assets - understanding and conducting Community Asset Transfers, plus designating Local Green Spaces and Assets of Community Value.
• Community-Led Planning - understanding and developing Community Climate Action Plans, Parish Plans, Neighbourhood Priorities Statements and Neighbourhood Development Plans, plus Community Infrastructure Levy and Section 106 agreements.
• Helping to identify and protect local green spaces
• Community Resilience - writing Community Emergency Plans, building community resilience in response to climate change and other events, and we manage flood warden programmes.
• Village Halls & Community Buildings - the effective management and development of community buildings.
