Barbara joined GRCC in 2004 as a Village and Community Hall Adviser and then as a Community Development Officer.

Barbara joined GRCC in 2004 as a Village and Community Hall Adviser and then as a Community Development Officer. She is trained as a Small Business and Social Enterprise adviser (SFEDI qualified) and has extensive experience of working with communities on projects, charity and social enterprise business planning, governance, community-led planning, and engagement and consultation.

Barbara's consultancy work has involved producing business plan toolkits with the Princes Trust and ACRE, as well as designing and project-managing national grant programmes.

As Head of Operations and Business Development, Barbara is involved in governance, business planning, project management, policy, and business development at GRCC.
